Delete your account

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

• Your account and authentication credentials.
• All plants, rooms, care schedules, tasks, and care logs.
• Plant notes, environment observations, and photos.
• Analytics events, notification tokens, and experiment data.
• Subscription records and billing events stored by PlantRitual.

This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

Before you delete

• Active subscription? Deleting your account does not cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. Please cancel your subscription first through your Apple or Google Play subscription settings to avoid continued billing.
• Want to keep your data? Export your plant data from the app (Settings → Export My Data) before deleting.

How to delete your account

Option 1: In the app

Open PlantRitual → Settings → Delete My Account → type "DELETE" to confirm. Your account and data will be deleted immediately.

Option 2: By email (if you no longer have the app)

If you have uninstalled PlantRitual and cannot access the in-app option, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your PlantRitual account so we can verify your identity.

We will process your request and delete your account within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
